Will AI recommend your business?
The External AI Readiness Assessment identifies gaps in your public information and shows how your business appears in a sample of answers from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity.
Buyers increasingly ask an AI assistant who to call before they ever visit a website. An assistant can only recommend what it can find, read, understand and trust. This assessment checks your public website, business listings and social profiles against Stacy Nelson’s 4 C’s framework, so you can see where you stand.

Why this matters to your business
Before someone calls, books or buys, they want to know whether your business is right for them. AI assistants increasingly help with that first look.
If your services are unclear, key details are missing, or your website and business listings disagree, an assistant can overlook your business, describe it incorrectly, or suggest it for the wrong need. Outdated hours, service areas or policies can also add friction before anyone contacts you.
The assessment finds those gaps and ties each one to the page or listing where it appears. You get a clearer starting point for deciding what to fix first and where your time and marketing budget should go.
What you get & how it works
Our proprietary AI assessment system examines your website, public listings and profiles through the 4 C’s of External AI Readiness. With human review, we identify information gaps, conflicting details and missing evidence that could affect how AI platforms understand your business and recommend it to the right customers.
Your assessment includes:
- A scored report covering Compatibility, Clarity, Credibility and Consistency, plus a Foundation check of whether your website can be reached and read.
- Documented findings linked to the pages or listings reviewed, with an explanation of why each issue matters.
- A sample of buyer questions tested across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity.
- A clear record of anything we could not check and why.
Getting started is simple: Choose your package, complete the form and pay securely online. We review public information only. No passwords or account access required.
A person at Triquetra reviews and approves your report before delivery. Within 1–3 business days of payment, you receive an email with a private link to download your PDF report. The download link remains available for 14 days.
Your report gives you a documented starting point for deciding what needs attention. Detailed implementation planning, consulting and hands-on updates are available separately.
The 4 C’s in plain language
Created by Stacy Nelson, the 4 C’s of External AI Readiness examine whether your public information gives AI enough context to evaluate your business accurately.
Compatibility: Does it fit?
Can AI tell when your product or service matches someone’s needs, preferences, budget, location, or requirements, and when it doesn’t? This means explaining who you serve, what problems you solve, and any important limitations.
Clarity: Can AI understand it?
Can AI understand what you offer without guessing? Specific descriptions, organized information, and direct answers help people and AI interpret your business accurately.
Credibility: Can AI trust it?
Is there evidence supporting your claims? Reviews, verifiable credentials, independent coverage, and other reliable sources help substantiate what you say about your business.
Consistency: Does everything else confirm it?
Do your website, profiles, directories, and other sources reinforce the same facts? Conflicting descriptions, service areas, or product details make your business harder to evaluate.
Together, the 4 C’s help AI recognize when your business belongs in a recommendation. Enabling an AI agent to book, schedule, or purchase is an additional consideration requiring suitable systems and current information.
See what is inside
Here is a preview of a sample report for a fictional company, Bluebird Pool & Patio. It shows one area in full and the other areas as scores and summaries only. Each finding in your full report points to the page or listing it came from.
| Area | Sample result |
|---|---|
| Foundation | Issues (1 failed, 2 partial of 6 checks, 1 not checked) |
| Compatibility: Fit | 5 / 10 |
| Compatibility: Transaction | 6 / 10 |
| Clarity | 7 / 10 |
| Credibility | 6 / 10 |
| Consistency | 5 / 10 |
| AI answers | Named in 6 of 16 |
In the full report, each finding looks like this (shown here from the Clarity area):
| Check | Status | What we found | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|---|
| Page labeling accuracy | Fail | 18 pool pages use the hot tub template heading | A reader or an AI system may misunderstand what the page is about. |
| Unambiguous terminology | Partial | “Spa” is used for both hot tubs and day spa services | Customers may not be able to tell which service you offer. |
| Homepage positioning clarity | Pass | The homepage states what you sell and the city you are in | This is working: a reader can tell what you sell and where. |
Every report also includes an opening summary, a guide to reading it, a contents page, a list of what we could not check, and compliance items for your attorney to review.
What you can do with your findings
Your report shows where your public information is clear, where it conflicts, and where customers or AI assistants may be left guessing. It gives you documented evidence to help decide what needs attention before investing in changes.
Use your findings to:
- Check how your business is represented. See whether the information reviewed accurately describes what you offer, who you serve and when your business is a good fit.
- Identify missing or unclear information. Find details your team may need to confirm or explain, such as service areas, product specifications, customer requirements or important limitations.
- Address conflicting facts. Locate differences across your website, listings and profiles that could cause confusion about your business.
- Strengthen support for your claims. Identify where credentials, reviews or other evidence may be missing, difficult to find or insufficient to support what you say.
- Give the right people concrete findings. Share the report with your staff, web provider or marketing agency so they can review the specific pages, listings and issues documented.
- Establish a baseline. Keep the dated report as a record of what was observed. A later assessment can help you see what has changed and what still needs attention.
Why acting on the findings matters
Missing or contradictory information can make it harder for customers and AI assistants to recognize when your business meets a need. Addressing those gaps can support more accurate descriptions, better-informed recommendations and clearer customer decisions. It does not guarantee placement in AI answers.
Choose how to move forward
The assessment identifies the issues and explains why they matter. A detailed implementation plan turns those findings into specific tasks, priorities and instructions.
Your own team or marketing agency can plan and make the changes. If you need support, Triquetra can develop an implementation roadmap, consult with you or your team, or carry out agreed updates. Planning, consulting and implementation are scoped and priced separately, so you can choose the level of help you need.

Each buyer question is asked of all four AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity), which is why live searches are four times the number of questions. The smaller packages read fewer pages and run fewer questions, so they show a narrower picture of how AI answers about your business.
The AI test is a limited snapshot. It reports whether each assistant names your business for the questions we ask. Being named is not the same as being recommended accurately, and live results change over time.
